A question for your consideration: “If I were to take Jesus and His resurrection from the dead more seriously than I do right now, would it change something in my life?”

ACTS 17:30-31
“In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent…”
– When you decide to believe that Jesus is in fact who He
claims to be (which is what it means to repent) your life
takes a distinctively new direction.

“For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed…”
-The empty tomb is not just a picturesque symbol of an out-
of-touch religious view that has no bearing on life today.

“He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.”
-The resurrection of Jesus is like a beacon from a lighthouse
shining into the dark corners of our hearts, offering hope.

-What did John see in verse 8 that caused him to “believe”?

– The beacon of the empty tomb is shining into your life this morning.
My prayer is that if you have never seen and understood the magnitude of the empty tomb before that you would very soon also be able to say “I see.”
